London-based artist and educator.
 found material sculptor
 camera-less photographer
 intuitive painter
My practice is led by unanswerable questions often about perception, belief systems, and our rituals of everyday.
I’m drawn to process:
                         to accidents,
                              to intuition,
                                    to experimentation.
At the core of everything I do is a deep curiosity — about materials, light, movement, senses, texture and the unexpected.
I see experimentation not just as a method, but as a mindset. Which has led me to finding and creating my own methodologies around waste material. I’m committed to lifelong learning, to varying perspectives, to finding new tools, and importantly the lessons that come from doing, undoing, and doing again.
Education is a big part of what I do. Currently I work as a Technician at the Royal College of Art and have taught hundreds of people since I started working in art education in 2018. This has been through schools, workshops, residencies and community spaces. Teaching keeps me learning—it encourages play, resourcefulness, and rethinking how and why we make things.
Since 2017, I’ve worked primarily with found materials, and working in the creative education industry, I had access to more than most. For a long time, I used whatever was available—experimenting with sculpture, camera-less photography and installation using exposed darkroom paper, plastics, and polystyrene. Over time, my creative ethics shifted. I moved from using any found material to focusing on specific processes that align with ideas around sustainability and care. I now avoid materials like plastic and instead work with things like recycled paper pulp, stitched fabric and repurposed objects collected over the past decade.
