London-based artist and educator.
 found material sculptor,
 camera-less photographer,
 intuitive painter
My practice is driven by unanswerable questions, often concerning perception, belief systems, and the rituals of everyday life.
I’m drawn to process:
                         to accidents,
                              to intuition,
                                    to experimentation.
At the core of everything I do is a deep curiosity about materials, light, movement, senses, texture, and the unexpected.
I’m committed to lifelong learning, to exploring diverse perspectives, to discovering new tools, and, importantly, to the lessons that come from making mistakes and the process of doing, undoing, and doing again. For me, experimentation and sustainability are not just methods, but a mindset that has led me to develop and implement my own approaches to working with waste materials.
Education is a significant aspect of my work. Currently, I work as a Technician at the Royal College of Art and have taught hundreds of people since I started working in art education in 2018. This has been through schools, workshops, residencies, and community spaces. Teaching keeps me learning—it encourages play, resourcefulness, and rethinking how and why we make things.
Since 2017, I’ve worked primarily with found materials, and as a creative educator, I have had access to more than most. For a long time, I used whatever was available—experimenting with sculpture, camera-less photography, and installation using exposed darkroom paper, plastics, and polystyrene. Over time, my creative ethics shifted. I transitioned from using any available material to focusing on specific processes that align with ideas of sustainability and care. I now avoid materials like plastic and instead work with items such as recycled paper pulp, stitched fabric, and repurposed objects that I have collected over the past decade.
