This limited series of photograms and mono-prints were created using waste plastic, found during my walks to and from work in the darkroom at Croydon School of Art.
While developing this series, I experimented with movement by removing or shaking the plastic mid-exposure, creating a soft blur that resulted in abstract, landscape-like compositions. This stands in direct contrast to the mono-prints, which resemble sharp mountains or detailed rock formations.
This project explores movement, light, and fluidity, reframing waste objects as natural spaces and reusing litter to create organic, textural imagery.
